El Cabo Coliving offers a unique blend of work, relaxation, and community in the charming coastal village of Agaete, Gran Canaria. Ideal for remote workers, digital nomads, and travelers seeking an extended stay, this coliving space combines the comfort of a modern residence with the vibrant atmosphere of a collaborative environment.
The accommodation features fully furnished private rooms and shared communal spaces, including a fully-equipped kitchen, spacious lounge, and a rooftop terrace offering breathtaking views of the ocean and surrounding landscapes. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the property to ensure smooth remote work, while daily community activities encourage residents to connect, explore, and enjoy their time together. Whether it’s morning yoga on the terrace, shared meals, or evening social gatherings, El Cabo Coliving is designed to foster an enriching experience where work-life balance is key.
El Cabo offers one fully wheelchair-accessible room, featuring a roll-in shower, grab bars, and ample turning space on the ground floor. While the room is not particularly large, it is well-suited for manual wheelchair users. An elevator connects all floors, providing access to the basement, which houses the kitchen and lounge area, as well as the panoramic rooftop terrace. The elevator door measures 80 cm width. The rooftop terrace consists of two levels: a lower, fully accessible section, and an upper section reached by climbing two steps. The entrance has a double door, which might be challenging for some to manage, however when there is a guest who needs it, one of the two doors can be left open to facilitate entrance. The width of the ramp to enter the building is 105cm. You can book the Accessible room directly via the website of the Co-Living.
El Cabo also includes a separate co-working space, which is entirely wheelchair accessible and located just a few minutes away on foot. Additionally, several reserved disability parking spots are available.
One of the major advantages of El Cabo is its location in the tiny village of Agaete, where everything is flat and close by. The accessible beaches are only five minutes away from the co-living space, with a ramp to facilitate accessing the water, and a beach wheelchair available upon request. Many nearby restaurants and bars also offer step-free entrances or outdoor seating with service, with some very good addresses for... Italian food! You can read more in our article in the Destination Inspiration blog. There are also two supermarkets nearby, one 2 minutes away, and one 10 minutes walking distance.

I stayed at El Cabo in October 2022 as part of a European project for women entrepreneurs, I was in a group and we stayed there for three weeks. The manager of the place showed me immediately the accessible room and the measures of the elevator and the other accessible features - which is why I recommended that a friend who is a wheelchair user also should stay there (she was part of the same project). I was very impressed by how attentive the manager, Christian, was with highlighting the accessibility, and when the company that manages the co-living created a co-working space in the same village, they also have made it fully wheelchair accessible.
