La Spiaggia dei Valori– Accessible Beach in Punta Marina

La Terrazza dei Valori is a fully accessible beach located in Punta Marina, Ravenna. This initiative, started by the Associazione Insieme a Te, offers free access to the sea for people with severe mobility disabilities, such as those affected by ALS or neurodegenerative diseases. The beach is designed to ensure a safe, inclusive experience for all guests, including specialized equipment and personal assistance for entering the water. The beach provides designated areas for individuals with disabilities and their companions, while also welcoming all families to enjoy its facilities.

Inaugurated as a permanent structure in 2024, the beach features 18 reserved stations for people with total motor disabilities, as well as 12 umbrella-covered spaces, with additional services including accessible bathrooms, common areas, and activity rooms. The beach is supported by volunteers, offering a warm and community-driven experience for guests.

Accessibility features

The Insieme a Te beach is fully equipped for individuals with severe mobility disabilities, offering accessible walkways directly to the water and specialized equipment for safe entry. Guests with complex needs, including those using ventilators or PEG tubes, are accommodated in reserved, spacious stations. Personal assistance is provided by volunteers, and accessible bathrooms and shower facilities ensure a comfortable stay. Families are encouraged to bring their own personal care assistants as well.
