Adaptive sailing with Cadamà in the Mediterranean

Cadamà is the first fully accessible historic sailing yacht, designed to offer a barrier-free sailing experience for all, particularly those with mobility disabilities. Built in 1971 by Laurent Giles, this 22-meter wooden ketch features stunning craftsmanship with mahogany and teak. The yacht accommodates during the day up to nine guests of which max four manual wheelchair users - for an overnight stay maximum 7 guests of which maximum 2 wheelchair users in the owner's cabin.

Guests can actively participate in sailing, thanks to adaptive seating designed to ensure stability and safety during maneuvers. Owned and led by Andrea Brigatti, who became paraplegic after a motorcycle accident, Cadamà fosters independence, adventure, and self-discovery for people with disabilities.
